Program Details

The online accounting master's degree from Florida International University is designed for those with a bachelor's in accounting or business. The curriculum presents the most current knowledge of accounting practices and provides a diverse base of practical accounting skills. Core classes cover topics such as information systems technology, managerial accounting, global accounting, and government accounting.

Students can choose from two tracks:

  • Assurance
  • Taxation

The Assurance track explores topics of auditing, fraud and tax strategies. The Taxation track studies taxation in corporations and international entities, plus tax research, practice and procedure. Students will be prepared to take the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.

The online accounting degree program is taken as a cohort, allowing students to form strong bonds with fellow classmates.
