The Master of Science in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity is offered online through Florida Tech’s Harris Institute for Assured Information, which was created under a partnership with global security leader Harris Corp. to meet the growing demand for cybersecurity experts. Students will gain expert-level knowledge on protecting and securing information from cyber intruders, and will be able to recognize threats and vulnerabilities by studying complex attack models.
Completing this program will prepare students for careers such as computer forensics investigator, computer network defense engineer, threat intelligence analyst and chief information security officer.
Hold a bachelor's degree (four-year degree) in a related field from a recognized, regionally accredited college or university (or the international equivalent)
Must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 as an undergraduate
If a student demonstrates acceptable undergraduate achievement but has subject-specific course deficiencies, the academic department that oversees the program will specify the criteria that must be met to make up for them
