Program Details

The online Master of Education in Special Education program teaches the techniques and skills required for working with students with special needs and disabilities.  The curriculum includes classes in educational research, instructional approaches, theories, and teaching methods for behavioral disorders.  Graduates can design and conduct research to understand and address issues in the field, collaborate with colleagues to design and implement professional development experiences, and develop and implement appropriate instructional and behavioral plans based on student assessment results.
