Associate of Science in Criminal Justice

Program Details

The online Associate of Science in Criminal Justice program provides a strong social science background that prepares students for entry-level careers in the criminal justice field or to continue their educations by pursuing bachelor’s degrees in the field.  The interdisciplinary curriculum offers a strong foundation in social and behavioral science along with courses in criminal justice, psychology, sociology, and their relationship to criminology.  You will understand the processes by which behavior comes to be labeled as deviant or criminal and methods of social control and also gain skills in writing to be used in writing police and probation reports and more scholarly writing.

Requirements

  • Official transcripts from all the high schools and colleges attended
  • SAT/ACT scores are required
  • If you have completed a GED in lieu of high school, please forward official test scores
