The Bachelor of Science in Human Services degree online is available from Fisher College for students interested in learning to help others in need.  The curriculum combines disciplines such as counseling, psychology, social work, and sociology to provide a balanced, comprehensive foundation of knowledge and skills.  You will learn to assess the social and developmental needs of individuals and families, especially those considered at-risk or otherwise troubled, and to help address their needs, either directly or indirectly.  Coursework looks at the purposes, methods, history, and contributions of human services; the organization and functioning of agencies that constitute the social welfare system; and the delivery of services to individuals and families.  Graduates are able to assess the needs of individuals, families, and communities and to help them become as self-sufficient as possible.
