Founded in 1942 by the Felician Sisters, Felician University is a small, 4-year, private liberal arts institution, with campuses located in Lodi and Rutherford, New Jersey. The college commits to "an emphasis on service and respect for humanity."

Certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees are all offered at Felician University within four schools: Business, Arts and Sciences, Education, and Nursing. In addition to offering off-campus degree programs featuring online courses and onsite courses at partner community colleges, Felician University houses the Online Institute, which provides Catholic dioceses, parishes, schools, and individuals with opportunities to pursue life-long learning in the Catholic Tradition. Adult learners can prepare to be practitioners and leaders in the educational ministries of the Catholic Church.
