Program Details

The online Diploma in School-Age Education program prepares individuals to work with children in elementary through middle grades in diverse learning environments.  Students will learn to foster the cognitive/language, physical/motor, social/emotional, and creative development of school-age populations through coursework including care and guidance of school-age children, child growth and development, communication skills with families and children, computer technology in education, and physical/nutritional needs of school-age children.  Graduates are prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in school-aged environments.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
