Program Details

The online Early Childhood Education associate’s program prepares individuals to work with children from infancy through middle childhood in diverse learning environments.  Students will learn to foster the cognitive/language, physical/motor, social/emotional, and creative development of young children through coursework including the care and guidance of children, child growth and development, communication skills with parents and children, and physical and nutritional needs of children.  Graduates are prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in early childhood settings.
