Program Details

The online Master of Education in Elementary Education program allows educators to pursue a faith-based program that can expand on their skillsets and values, giving them all they need to provide for today’s young people.  This program helps current educators enhance their skills and marketability or redirect their specialty towards elementary aged students, revealing career opportunities and improving educators as leaders in elementary education.  The curriculum prepares more efficient, effective educators, with enhanced abilities to lead elementary classrooms and design school curricula.  Courses include:

  • Philosophy, Ethics, and Character Building
  • Curriculum, Design, Assessment, and Evaluations
  • Technology of Learning
  • Teaching Elementary Language Arts
  • Elementary Pedagogy for Social Studies


  • A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Transcripts from all institutions attended
  • Three letters of recommendation with specific comments regarding the applicant's academic work, professional experience, and ability to successfully complete graduate study
  • Statement of approximately 250 words specifying personal goals
  • Minimum overall GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
  • Acceptable score on a graduate admission exam such as the MAT or GRE, which cannot be more than five years old
