Program Details

Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama offers Associate of Arts/Science degrees with no concentration.  The Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science degrees are the most common undergraduate degree and are comprised of core courses that provide students the foundational concepts necessary for a substantial breadth and depth of knowledge.  

The Associates program will introduce students to the important concepts and understandings of liberal arts concepts.  Students wishing to pursue impressionable roles in local communities and churches are welcome to enroll in the completely online degree program to further their education and serve for the greater good.  

An Associate’s degree will enhance a student’s opportunities to experience the academic portion of any field of study, and preparing graduates for a range of possible career paths.  Undergraduates will study a broad spectrum of essential courses such as: 

Literature, the Bible, English, Computer Information, Justice & Law, Art, Humanities, Mathematics, Physical Education and the Natural and Social Sciences.  

Students will be able to choose a concentration within the Associate level of education, laying the foundation for future career and educational goals, or students can earn the general degree to advance in current positions or fulfill personal aspirations.  The formal education will give many graduates the opportunity to provide service and guidance where any less of an education may not be allowed.  The focused curriculum ensures students and organizations the graduate’s comprehension of intrinsic Christian values and teachings, while still teaching the essential foundations of an advanced degree.    

Graduates will demonstrate a potential for ministry, a commitment to the Word of God, a desire for Christian service, and the discipline needed to succeed in the challenging professional world.  Successful graduates can seek service and fulfill career roles as professionals or leaders in the church or any organization needing the highly skilled and educated graduates of an Associate’s degree.


Requires 62 credits for degree completion.

High school graduate who has completed a high school curriculum and received a regular high school diploma, or GED. Applicants out of high school for more than five years are not required to provide ACT or SAT scores. If out of high school for less than five years, a minimum ACT score of 18 or SAT score of 1290 is required for admission.
