Master of Arts in Christian Ministry
Faith Evangelical College and Seminary offers a Master of Arts degree in Christian Ministry for individuals and members of the church who wish to partake in roles and responsibilities of ministerial leadership as part of their commitment to serving Christianity, the church, and others. Through the program, students will learn about the biblical principles of pastoral ministry and the roles of the ministry, including the role of pastor, the responsibilities of pastoral theology, and developing leadership styles. In addition to studies, students may choose a specialization for their interests in Christian Counseling, Global Leadership, and Leadership Coaching. Upon completion of the program, students may be qualified to fill the roles expected of leaders of the church in guidance of others.
The program consists of classroom courses that emphasize the development of leadership ability and knowledge of the Bible and its lessons on leadership. The curriculum consists of 72 credit hours of classes which include Theological Writing and Terminology, Leading for Global Impact, and The Dynamics of Team Leadership.
Potential qualifications that students completing the program may be able to display consist of a foundational knowledge of the Bible that contributes to the formation of a Christian worldview. This is intended to help the graduate apply biblical truth to contemporary and cultural issues. Graduates should also have competency in general education in order to become a more well-rounded individual and professional, the skills necessary for effective oral, written, and visual communication, including the basic use of communications technology, and the leadership ability and professionalism appropriate for their roles in the ministry.
