Master of Business Administration with concentration in Technology Management
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Technology Management degree offered by Excelsior College aims to help students improve their job performance, raise their earning potential, help compete for promotions, and to prepare for leadership roles like business ownership. This program is designed for individuals who have already earned their Bachelor’s in Business with skills and knowledge related to Technology Management. Graduates of this program acquire skills and knowledge relating to the following subjects: innovation, project management, and quality and productivity assessment.
By the end of this program, a student should be able to be able to integrate and manage technology in an effective way in order to improve products, services, and productivity. Students should also be able to use strategic management principles in order to develop and implement innovative technologies in organizations, and assess the impact of the global business environment on business situation. Students will learn essential competencies such as: to apply quantitative methods to analysis of business situations, perform ethically and professionally in business and society, communicate effectively to different audiences both in oral and written communications, and collaborate in teams in order to produce effective deliverables.
This program requires participants to take courses in business administration such as Accounting for Managers, Business Communications, Global Business Environment, Management of Innovative Technology, Project Management Principles and Application, and Quality and more.
