The Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Resources Management degree offered by Excelsior College aims to prepare students for leadership roles such as business ownership. This program is specifically designed for individuals who have already earned their Bachelor’s in Business, but wish to gain advanced skills and knowledge related to Human Resources Management. Graduates of this program may acquire skills and knowledge in labor relations, conflict, and compensation and benefits.
By the end of this program, a student should be able to manage technology in order to improve products, services, and productivity, develop and implement innovative technologies in organizations through strategic management principles, and assess the impact of the global business environment on areas such as business situations. Students may learn essential competencies such as how to perform ethically and professionally in business and society, to communicate effectively in both oral and written communications, and how to collaborate in teams in order to produce effective deliverables.
Students will need to complete MBA core courses such as Information Technology, Leadership or Change Management, and Operations Management, and other courses such as Human Resources Management: Compensations and Benefits, Labor Relations and Conflict Resolution, and Employee Staffing and Development.
