Master of Business Administration with concentration in Human Performance Technology
Students wishing to participate in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Human Performance Technology degree offered by Excelsior College may learn new skills and gain knowledge related to Human Performance Technology. This program is specifically designed for those who have already earned their Bachelor’s in Business. Graduates of this program will study subject matter grounded in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, and other business-related fields of study.
Successful completion of this program means students should be able to use strategic management principles in order to develop and implement innovative technologies in organizations and assess the impact of the global business environment on business situation. Lessons will also explore ways to apply quantitative methods to analysis of business situations, to perform ethically and professionally in business and society, to use project management skills to business situations, and to assess the ethical implications of actions for diverse stakeholders.
Some courses included in this program are Global Business Environment, Human Resource Management, and Leadership or Change Management, as well as courses in Human Performance Technology. These courses are faculty-approved classes from other institutions and the International Society for Performance Improvement.
