Program Details

The Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences is an online human services degree from Excelsior College.  This degree looks at the integration of human behavior with human organizations and at how people form their identities and relate to one another, both individually and in groups.  Emphasis is placed on critical analysis and reasoning skills along with a sense of societal understanding that helps students address problems in health care, the global economy, public policy, national security, and environmentalism. 

This program is also available with a concentration in Human Services for those who are interested in working with people to make individual lives better and to build healthy communities.  Coursework focuses on practical skills to prepare students for careers in:
