Program Details

The online Bachelor of Science in Health Science is composed of courses in the arts and sciences as well as in the health sciences, providing learning opportunities to foster knowledge and skills necessary to engage with interprofessional teams to promote quality care and expand career potential.  The curriculum teaches students about decision making, using a systematic approach and higher order thinking in responding to health care issues and societal needs, and integrating knowledge of culture and an appreciation for diversity in planning and evaluating health care.  Graduates are able to incorporate multiple communication strategies to establish collaborative relationships, implement evolving technologies in health care, and analyze issues using legal and ethical standards.
