Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts & Science
Erie Community College

Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts & Science is a liberal arts degree with two concentrations, Humanities and Social Science.  Both concentrations include foundation courses that allow students to transfer to four-year institutions with lower-division, general education courses completed.  This liberal arts degree also includes great flexibility, allowing students to create programs that best meet their interests and goals, and which allow them to explore and test various disciplines to find what best fits them.

The Humanities concentration is best for those interested in fields including dance, drama, English, International Studies, modern languages, music, philosophy, or pre-law.  The Social Science concentration offers a broad spectrum of study in both the social and behavioral sciences, and is best for those interested in anthropology, economics, government, history, human service, psychology, sociology, and interdisciplinary social science.
