The online Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis program prepares students to work with children with disabilities who participate in integrated or self-contained classrooms and includes courses that meet the educational requirements to sit for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board. The curriculum focuses on the application of behavioral principles in addressing the needs of exceptional learners. Graduates have a good grasp of the theoretical perspective of behaviorism and natural science, understand valid research, and are able to observe human behavior and explain its causes based upon the world view of behaviorism and natural science.
