Program Details

The online Master of Science in Special Education with a concentration in High Incidence program is designed to improve the lives of children and youth with special needs, including children and youth with mild/moderate disabilities and/or children and youth who are gifted, talented, and creative.  The curriculum is designed to support the needs of the students, teachers, schools, and special education administrators as individuals learn about incidence disabilities, collaboration, and supervised practice.  Courses include Characteristics of Students with High Incidence Disabilities, Strategies for Students with High Incidence Disabilities, Consultation and Collaboration, and Seminar in Behavior Management.
