Program Details

The online Master of Science in Elementary Education program is designed for career changers who are interested in teaching elementary education.  Graduates are eligible for elementary education teaching licenses and are able to enter the teaching profession at the master’s degree level.  Courses include:

  • Application of Developmental Theories 
  • Teaching/Learning Models
  • Classroom Management and Student Motivation
  • Integrating Educational Technology into Teaching 
  • Differentiating Instruction



  • GPA of 3.0 on the last 60 hours of college course work
  • Official transcripts of all college work
  • Two references
  • Statement of introduction
  • Completed disposition form
  • Signed disclosure form
  • Faculty evaluation and/or personal interview (prerogative of admissions committee)
  • Current copy of teaching license
