The Systems Engineering master’s online from ECPI University examines how to engineer complex systems from inception to implementation. Students will choose a concentration in either Mechatronics or Software Engineering.
Mechatronics involves designing autonomous systems by combining knowledge of mechanical, electrical, robotic, and computer science engineering. Software Engineering students will learn how to analyze, design, develop, test, and maintain various software. In addition to online classroom learning, students will design, create, test, and evaluate a practical project through the course of this program.
Core class topics include the following:
- Systems engineering concepts
- System analysis, design, and implementation
- Testing and evaluation
- Systems engineering project
- A bachelor's degree is required
