Program Overview

Eastfield College offers an online Associate of Applied Science degree in Management that includes a flexible offering of business courses designed to accommodate the needs of students who are currently employed.  The program teaches practical management skills, leadership, problem solving, human resources and team building.  The student also enrolls in Management Cooperative Education courses that earn 12 credit hours through applying concepts to their present jobs.

The AAS in Management is a 60- to 66-credit-hour program taught over four semesters.  The first semester courses include: Supervision, Cooperative Education- Business Administration and Management I, Principles of Management, Introduction to Business, and Composition I. 

The second semester classes are: Human Resources Management, Cooperative Education- Business Administration and Management II, Composition II, a Math elective or Business Math, and a Business-related elective. 

Third semester courses are: Organizational Behavior, Cooperative Education- Business Administration and Management III, Principles of Accounting I, Principles of Economics I, Introduction to Speech Communication or Fundamentals of Public Speaking. 

The final semester offers courses in: Problem Solving and Decision Making, Cooperative Education- Business Administration and Management IV, two General electives, and a Humanities/Fine Arts elective.
