Eastern Wyoming College
Eastern Wyoming College offers an online Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) in Interdisciplinary Studies that includes all general education courses and allows the student to choose electives. This degree is ideal for students who want a coursework foundation for transfer to an institution that offers a four-year degree in an area of their choosing. The AA and AS degrees are 65- to 67-credit-hour programs taught over four semesters of study.
Distance learning courses are delivered within the time frame of a standard semester and therefore must be finished in that time. Likewise, students should make arrangements to complete exams required for courses.
There are five ways courses are delivered through distance learning, including compressed videos through EWC’s website, telecourse VHS copies, internet documents, web conferencing, and through text-based correspondence (mail, e-mail, and telephone). Distance learning students should be aware of their own personal habits because courses taught through this method require discipline and self-motivation.
