The online Master of Education in Early Childhood Education program prepares individuals to impact children’s lives during their formative years, birth through age 8, by providing children with a solid foundation for success based on strong families and an early learning system. The curriculum reflects current evidence-based practices for working with and supporting young children and their families, providing accessible, accountable, and developmentally and culturally appropriate learning systems that partners with families to ensure that every child is health, capable, and confident in school and life. Coursework covers such relevant topics as the science of early childhood development, creating positive learning environments for children, leadership and policy, and understanding family systems and engagement.
