Master of Education in Adult Education

Program Details

The online Master of Education in Adult Education program familiarizes students with the principles of andragogy, the teaching of adults, as learners develop the rudiments of assessment and classroom management as they pertain to adult learners.  The curriculum is grounded in evidence-based research, addressing useful strategies and techniques, and encouraging self-reflection among the tools to teach adults effectively.  Graduates are ready for a broad range of roles working with adults in post-secondary educational settings, including community college vocational or GED programs, adult basic skills programs, in-service coordination in corporate and nonprofit settings, military training, and more.
