Two years of a single high school foreign language or one year of a single college level foreign language is also required.
Eastern Washington University is a public, four-year institution of higher learning located in Cheney, Washington. Founded in 1882 by the funds received from a man named Benjamin Pierce Cheney, the school began as a small institution known as the Benjamin P. Cheney Academy. Originally started as a teacher training school, the academy expanded to include programs outside of the education field after WWII and became a university in the late 1970s.
