Program Details

The online Doctor of Philosophy in Medical and Health Professions Education prepares students for leadership positions in education. Through this online program, students will gain the practical skills needed to tackle important issues facing higher education. Students and faculty both engage in research to obtain a better understanding of the diverse backgrounds and perceptions of learners.

Research subjects include, but are not limited to:

  • Neuroanatomy teaching intervention
  • Nursing student clinical calibration
  • Game-based learning in the classroom

Students enjoy the benefits of attending class virtually, choosing their own pace, and individual mentoring. Concentrations include higher education, contemporary human anatomy education, and ultrasound and imaging education.
