Develop comprehensive public management skills and prepare to meet the demands of modern public administration with Eastern Oregon University’s online Master of Public Administration program. EOU’s online MPA program is uniquely positioned to prepare public administration professionals to meet the needs and issues facing their communities. The program offers a rural-informed curriculum in an interconnected world that stems from the university’s roots in rural Oregon. Throughout the program, you’ll have the opportunity to use geographic information system (GIS) software and learn through collaborative activities that solve community problems, internships, fieldwork and research projects.

From a local-to-global perspective, our program will prepare you to connect rural areas with the wider world. Courses cover a broad range of public administration knowledge, including public policy studies, budgeting, personnel management, land use planning, legislative advocacy and environmental policy and administration.

Our generous transfer policy allows you to transfer up to 15 credits into the program. Students completing our B.S./B.A. in Politics, Policy and Public Administration degree have the option to apply 15 credits of undergraduate courses to the MPA program.
