The Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Sociology degree at Eastern Oregon University is an online sociology degree and online anthropology degree combination.  This degree prepares students for careers in social welfare and in fields requiring direct social involvement.  This anthropology degree also provides a broad liberal arts foundation, giving students the skills to enhance their understanding of the societies and cultures that surround them.  The curriculum develops analytical skills necessary for scholarly inquiry of historical and contemporary social contexts while learning to view and examine societies through the scholarly prisms that shape the social scientific avenue of inquiry.  You will gain a solid understanding of anthropological and sociological theory and how it may be applied to the real world.  The degree also develops cross cultural and intracultural perspectives while building skills in critical and analytical thinking and writing.
