Program Details

The online Master of Education with an emphasis in Education Administration program develops leadership skills that help students further their educations to become school administrators.  Graduates find careers as public or private school administrators, including positions as assistant principals, principals, athletic directors, federal program directors, special education directors, assistant superintendents, and superintendents.

  • American Curriculum History
  • Personnel
  • Leadership
  • Systems Communication

Requirements

  • Official transcript from each institution previously attended
  • An undergraduate GPA of 3.0 (applicants with GPAs between 2.8 and 2.99 will be considered for "conditional" admission; if accepted, candidates must earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 with no grade less than a "B" during the first semester or the first nine hours of enrollment)
  • A letter of application to the educational studies graduate coordinator or the curriculum and instruction graduate coordinator
  • One letter of recommendation
