Eastern New Mexico University offers an online Master of Education degree designed to provide increased knowledge for licensed elementary teachers who wish to continue their professional development, become curriculum leaders, or enhance their professional status.

Additionally, the thesis and graduate project options include an encompassing oral defense. Students should acknowledge that this degree does not lead to an elementary teaching license; however, it can lead to an additional endorsement area.
The Master of Education in Pedagogy and Learning is a 36 credit-hour program. There are three core courses (9 hours) which include: Teacher as Researcher, Seminar in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment, and Critical Pedagogy and Educational Reform.
