Eastern New Mexico University offers an online Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) degree ideal for students who have a substantial amount of credit hours in a career-related or technical discipline or who have an associate's degree from an institution with recognized accreditation from the Council of Higher Accreditation. This program is intended to be finished in two years of full-time enrollment. A BAAS degree can provide the credentials that may be required for a career advancement or further broaden opportunities for employment.
The BAAS degree requires a minimum of 35 credit hours of career-related or technical credit in a primary concentration and a minimum of 24 hours in a secondary emphasis area. The program requires a total of 128 credit hours for graduation. Potential primary and secondary transfer disciplines are wide-ranging and each degree program is personalized for every student. General education requirements and bachelor’s degree requirements account for 48 credit hours.
