Program Details
Eastern Kentucky University offers an online Master of Arts in Education with a specialization in Elementary Education. The degree focus is to help teachers improve their professional educator skills to be more effective in their environment, and have a greater impact on their students.
Requirements
Students pursuing this option must hold certification in their area of advanced study. Program graduates certified in Kentucky will be eligible to apply for the Kentucky Teacher Leader Endorsement and advancement in Rank.
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.0 overall or a 3.25 in the last 60 hours completed
- or have a verbal score of 150 and a qualitative score of 140 on the GRE
- or have a score of 389 on the Miller Analogies Test (MAT)
- Applicants with cumulative undergraduate GPA’s of 3.0 or higher, or 3.25 or higher in their last 60 hours of undergraduate work are exempt from the GRE/MAT requirement
