Program Details

The Bachelor of Science in Psychology is an online psychology degree from Eastern Kentucky University.  This program is designed to help students build a strong academic foundation in the field, so they are prepared for a variety of careers.  Students build critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills in such courses as abnormal psychology, social psychology, statistics-research, psychological interviewing and reporting, behavior therapy, and clinical psychology.  The real-world focused curriculum blends academic and professional preparation, so students are prepared for entry-level positions or to enroll in a graduate program.  You will be able to design a degree that meets your individual interests and career goals by choosing an area of concentration or minor.

  • Forensic Psychology
  • Child and Family Psychology
  • Workplace Psychology
  • Brain and Cognitive Science
  • Psychiatric Rehabilitation


  • High school diploma and 2.5 GPA OR
  • ACT composite score of 20 or SAT combined verbal/critical reading score of 950 or higher OR
  • 24 hours of transfer credits from a regionally accredited institution and a 2.0 GPA
