East Tennessee State University offers a mental health nursing online program, the Master of Science in Nursing with a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Concentration.  There is great demand for doctors and nurse practitioners in the mental health field as more people seek help with their mental health disorders and the stigma against those suffering from mental health problems disappears.  This degree allows RNs with bachelor’s degrees in nursing to further their educations, advancing their careers and fulfilling some of these positions.
