ETSU’s Master of Education in Reading Education prepares educators to enhance the reading and literacy of children and adults. This online graduate program covers oral language competencies, reading, and writing.

Candidates for this program must be practicing licensed teachers. Alternatively, those with at least three years of classroom experience who aspire to specialist licensure also benefit from this program.

Designed for working teachers, this program prepares graduates for leadership roles. Many accept positions as special reading teachers. Other roles include:
