ETSU’s Doctor of Education in Global Sport Leadership does not require a traditional dissertation. Phew! Instead, students in this online sports management Ph.D. program complete a final Capstone project.
The innovative approach of this sports management program focuses on developing the next generation of visionaries and leaders in academic and professional sports. While the program follows a fully online format, students can opt for global study abroad components for a global perspective. An example of this is a field trip teaching international modes of sports leadership.
You will learn strategic thinking and planning for global sports leaders. Other study topics include:
- Interpreting and applying analytics in sports
- Effect of governing bodies on sports leaders
- Leading internal and external sports
- Interpersonal relationships in sports
