Program Details

The online Certificate in Community College Instruction program is designed for instructors already teaching in a community college, graduates of master’s programs who need instructional skills, and those considering master’s degrees with the intention of teaching at a community college.  The curriculum allows students to customize their coursework by choosing electives from adult education, business or vocational education, instructional technology, or other related fields.  Graduates will complete professional instructional portfolios including a teaching philosophy, examples and documentation of instructional proficiency, and essays.
