Program Details

The online Certificate in Nursing Education & Faculty Role is designed for students who already possess a master’s or doctoral degree and wish to gain additional theory knowledge and experience in nursing education. Graduates are prepared for a variety of roles in contemporary nursing education such as clinical faculty member, online educator, lab coordinator/director, or faculty member in a community college.

Requirements

  • Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse
  • A bachelor of science in nursing degree (preferred)
  • A master's of science degree in nursing
  • A minimum of 1 year full-time work experience as a registered nurse is required prior to registration in clinical or specialty courses
