This post-master’s certificate focuses on providing medical diagnosis and treatment for individuals from young adult through senior citizen populations. Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners care for the aging and their families across all areas of health and illness.
Students in this geriatric nurse practitioner program online study the aging process through lectures, problem-based learning, clinical practice hours, patient experiences, and simulations. Supervised clinical hours allow students to perform advanced physical assessment and management of care.
