Program Details

Enroll in an online special education degree and enhance professional opportunities.  This program is for educators interested in working with a particular group, the disabled.  Learn to work with children and youth who have various mild/moderate disabilities. 

Emphasis is placed on:

• Incorporation of reflective problem-solving

• Participation in field-based research

There are two options to earn this masters in special education online degree.  If you are an experienced teacher who wishes to pursue advanced studies in special education, you would complete the Master of Education in Special Education.  The Master of Education in Special Education with additional Certification is available for teachers with Instructional I or II Certification who want to earn an M.Ed. and certification in special education.
