The Diploma in Computer Languages is an online software development degree from Des Moines Area Community College.  If you want to learn knowledge and skills that will help you with the competitive computer field, this degree may be for you.  In as little as three semesters you can learn to design, write, and execute computer programs to solve specific business problems.  Courses will teach you to write instructions for machines and people, edit and correct data from programs, interpret results of programs to users, and to assess and identify users’ needs.  

This program is intended for those either currently employed in computer operations or who have strong business computer applications experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
