Program Details

Des Moines Area Community College offers an online communications degree, the Associate in Arts in Communication.  This is a transfer degree, preparing students to transfer to an Iowa University to further study communication.  You will complete most, if not all, of the general education courses before transferring to a four-year program, allowing students to earn their bachelor’s degree in less than four years.  The curriculum also includes an introduction to communications.

With this online communications degree students are able to continue working while they earn their degree.  As long as there is a computer and internet access you can study whenever and wherever it is convenient.
