Enroll in this secondary education degree online program and enhance your professional opportunities.  If you have a non-education bachelor’s degree and want to become a classroom teacher, this degree is for you.  However, if you are interested in teaching and want to earn a graduate degree but are not seeking licensure, this degree will work for you as well.

The Secondary Education concentration is for those interested in teaching grades 7-12.  Complete such courses as:

  • Classroom Management and Organization
  • Advanced Survey of Exceptional Children
  • Secondary Curriculum Planning, Theory, Organization, and Development
  • Methods of Instruction in Secondary Schools

The second year includes an Internship in the Fall and Spring semesters.

You will move through this secondary education degree online but as part of a cohort.  So even though you are studying at a distance, you will still be able to collaborate with others in planning, implementation, and evaluation.
