Program Details

Move into a career in education with this online elementary education degree. If you have a non-education bachelor’s degree and want to become a classroom teacher, this degree is for you. However, if you are interested in teaching and want to earn a graduate degree but are not seeking licensure, this degree will work for you as well.

The Elementary Education concentration is for those interested in teaching grades K-6. Complete such courses as:

• Classroom Management
• Advanced Survey of Exceptional Children
• Reading & Writing Across the Curriculum

The second year includes an Internship in the Fall and Spring semesters.

You will move through this elementary education degree online but as part of a cohort. So even though you are studying at a distance, you will still be able to collaborate with others in planning, implementation, and evaluation.
