The online Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice program prepares students for careers in criminal justice agencies that do not require academy basic training. The curriculum includes courses that cover law enforcement, criminology, penology, probation and parole, corrections, or other areas of criminal justice. Students will build a strong base in the field and gain academic and practical, skills-based exposure to criminal justice-related fields, develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and learn to understand and appreciate diversity, social responsibility, and participation in public affairs.
