Program Details

The online Master of Biblical & Theological Studies program is designed for working professionals and laypersons who want to be prepared to serve in the workforce, at home, and in the church. The curriculum provides an overview of the entire Biblical story, introduces key theological concepts, and lets students customize their degrees based on their interests and callings through electives. You have 13 customizable elective hours and can choose from electives including Ministry to Children at Risk, A Christian View of Art, Good and Evil, Theology and World Religions, and Role of Women in Ministry. The program is based on the principle that any follower of Christ will benefit from advanced training in biblical and theological studies, becoming a more effective minister of the gospel wherever they serve. 

Graduates can:

  • Demonstrate general knowledge of the Bible
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of theology
  • Demonstrate an ability to biblically and theologically support views on contemporary issues
  • Demonstrate love for God, for others, and the fruit of the Spirit 
  • Show an interest and involvement in the local church or other ministries
