Program Details

The online Associate of Arts is a liberal arts degree program offered at Dallas County Community College District.  This is a transfer program for students planning to continue their education toward a bachelor’s degree or other academic programs beyond a two-year degree.  With this degree, students take mostly general education courses instead of specialization courses focused in a certain area of study, allowing them to explore many options from the classes and programs offered.  With the liberal arts degree, you will build the foundation for further education in a program that has the flexibility you need to build that foundation in various areas. 

The curriculum provides analytical, organizational, and software/internet skills while taking courses in areas that include:
