Program Details

The online MBA with a concentration in Health Care Management from Dallas Baptist University emphasizes strategic health care planning, marketing, health care policy, managed care, and long-term care while providing students with the health care industry’s modern technology.  Students learn from leaders in the business world about best practices and the lessons learned through the faculty’s perspectives and experiences.  A Christian worldview shapes lectures and assignments as students gain the skills and knowledge to become values-driven decision-makers.  The curriculum features a “hands-on” approach to learning by incorporating projects completed with corporate leadership partnerships in all sectors of business.  In addition, you will complete a capstone using “hands-on” experiences in an area of interest, such as administration, clinical practice, or education/consultation.  Graduates are competent leaders in the field, ready to succeed professionally and personally and impact the field locally and globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Evidence of sound moral character and compatibility with DBU’s mission
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • One of the following:
    • Minimum Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score of 425
    • Five or more years of significant, substantive managerial/leadership experience that may be evidenced through resumé review, applicant interview, or employer recommendations
    • 12 hours of graduate work from an accredited institution with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher
