Program Details

The online Associate of Applied Science in Caregiver Services is a human services degree from Dakota College at Bottineau.  This program is designed to prepare students to care for adults and children needing assistance with fundamental life skills that they cannot safely or comfortably do alone.  The curriculum covers topics related to health, aging, special education, human development, and social welfare.  Students will learn to act as personal care and service workers, geriatric aides, home health aides, and blind escorts.  With this human services degree you will be prepared to work as an independent provider of home health services or as an employee of nursing homes, adult care centers, group homes, or other agencies serving the aging and disabled.
